The Twillingate Atoms tried to batten down the hatches against the Hurricanes but to no avail. The Hurricanes continued their strong play in the championship match and came away with the Ultramar Cup on the strength of their 7 to 3 win.

The Hurricanes are now preparing for their Easter tournament that will be held at the Connaigre Arena in Harbour Breton from April 8 to 10.
