RCMP seize drugs

St. John's RCMP Drug Section arrested two males following the seizure of approximately 40 pounds of marihuana, along with various quantities of cocaine, methamphetamine, hashish and other substances pending analysis. Both accused were held in custody and will be making a a court appearance at St. John's provincial court today to face multiple offences trafficking under the controlled drugs and substances act and one criminal code of breach of recognizance for a previous trafficking conviction. Charged are Adam William Mattson, age 28 of Mount Pearl and Stephen James McNeil, age 24 of St. John's. Release is pending court appearance.
