Fatal vehicle accident in GFW

On Friday afternoon, June 15th, Grand Falls-Windsor District RCMP and Traffic Services Central responded to a fatal motor vehicle accident on Park Street, Grand Falls-Windsor. The accident involved a passenger car which was occupied by a lone adult male who died on scene. The second vehicle was a school bus that was unoccupied except for its' driver. The bus driver was uninjured in the accident.

It is expected that the portion of Park Street between Peddle Drive and Snow Crescent will be closed for the remainder of the day while authorities continue their investigation.

The victim's identity will not be released until all family members have been notified.
