On August 29th, a group of adults and children participated in a walk a thon to help raise money for the Janeway.

There were a total of ten people involved in the walk and the total raised was $826.00.

Susan Jeddore stated that she decided to start raising funds early this year for the Janeway. “I work with a child at St. Anne’s school who has to visit the Janeway quite often and to be able to help out in some way is worth it.”

The walk began at Conne River road and ended at McDonald’s beach totalling 11 kilometres.

The Janeway helps hundreds of children throughout year and every dollar means helping a sick child.
