The Hermitage-Sandyville Lions held their 37th annual charter night celebrations on June 9 to highlight some of the events accomplished during the 2011-2012 Lions’ year and to pass out a number of key awards.

One of the key awards of the charter celebrations went to Lion Gary Nash who was named Lion of the Year for his unselfish activity with, and dedication to, the club.

Another highlight of the night was the official initiation of four new members in the club.

Lion Doug Rose performed the official ceremony in welcoming Lions Marjorie Meade, Wanda Wells, Myra Herritt and Greg Justason into the club.
